Enterprise Architect

“An Enterprise Architect takes the company’s business strategy and defines an IT systems architecture to support that strategy. He/she understands a company’s business and is able to dive deeply into technology issues.

This person puts business processes in a larger context (e.g. application and infrastructure) and composes large holistic solutions that address the business challenges of the enterprise and support the governance needed to implement them. An Enterprise Architect designs large scale transformations.”
